We hope to provide information for the students of this University, the people of Oxford and the wider community
The Oxford Brookes University Islamic Society aims to promote the peace and love taught by our religion - Islam, both to Muslims by catering for their spiritual needs, and to non-Muslims by dispelling the widespread misconceptions about our religion which exist today.
Being a Muslim means believing in a Merciful God and showing kindness towards God’s creation. While we are part of a much bigger community made up of diverse races and cultures, we are all related by our humanity, and our aim is to work with Muslims as well as non Muslims towards the betterment of society, and, being students, to strengthen the unity and brotherhood on campus
